Food & Drink

There are a wide range of fantastic food options around Shiel if you are happy to drive. Below is a selection of some of our favourites.

Grouse & Claret

Run by Vicki and David Fu Tong, The Grouse & Claret is our go to restaurant for special occasions, an oasis in the heart of Kinross. Escape to a quiet, relaxing setting and enjoy the taste of fresh local produce with hints of the orient.

Tormaukin Inn

One of our old favourite local restaurants that serves great food and the staff are really friendly. There are lovely open fires to sit by in the bar on a cold winter’s night.

Le Jardin Cafe

Located within Dobbies Garden Centre before Kinross, this little cafe and conservatory is a hidden gem for a good value lunch or coffee and cake. Fantastic baked potatoes, toasties, home made ginger beer, loads of naughty cakes and a great kids menu. We highly recommend this for a quick casual lunch or coffee and cake, and a bonus if you like to rummage around a garden centre.
